About Us

Our Philosophy

Having an MA Degree in Fashion and over 25 years of experience in interior design, I approach textiles from the perspective of a fashion designer, artist, and engineer. On my account are over 100 implemented spatial projects — including hotels, restaurants, private houses, and public spaces — for which textiles, lighting, carpets, furniture, uniforms were created from scratch.

Today, this experience is embodied in the Irish luxury accessories brand Art Silk Ball. We create timeless collections of scarves and accessories that combine authentic Donegal tweed and premium silk with my original print design.

Before beginning to work with tweed, I mastered hand weaving on all major types of looms, including table looms and floor looms. This experience allows me to speak the same language as generations of master craftspeople, to thoroughly understand the properties of materials, and to effectively manage creative teams. Behind every product of the brand stands a personal connection: I personally know every individual involved in the production chain, from the supplier of raw silk to the craftspeople who help assemble the finished product.

Sustainability and Uniqueness

Art Silk Ball completely rejects mass production. Today our pieces cannot be copied or faked. We operate exclusively on a pre-order basis, following the principles of Zero Waste and the circular economy. The use of valuable textile remnants of historic Donegal tweed defines the unique architecture of each piece, making repetition impossible.

 Collaboration with Retail

Art Silk Ball products are created specifically for retail in hotels, castles, premium concept boutiques, as well as exclusive compliments for distinguished guests (VIP corporate gifts). Our production is located in Ireland, Kilkenny.
